How Do I Apply?

Who Can Apply?

We want to make college and self-exploration accessible to those who share the Wayfinding Academy values. We are building a cohort of seekers in our 2-year, full-time immersive program who want to invest in their education and make the world a better place. The only requirements for the full program are that you are 18 by the time you start and you have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent level of preparation. In Spring 2019 we will be offering a new 6 week program that is specifically for older adults who are looking for support in leading a purpose-driven life. Please email us at if you would like to find out more.

But I've already attended a college or university - can I apply?

Yes! You are welcome to apply. Wayfinding is about finding your next best step and pursuing it confidently. We are interested in students with a variety of academic backgrounds, whether that means you're just stepping out of highschool, completing your GED, tried out traditional college, or completed a full degree program. In fact, most of our students (about 70% of them) went to another college before coming to Wayfinding and they tend to be a really good match for us and vice versa!

Iā€™m an international student, can I still apply?

Right now, we are only able to accept students from other countries who have a current visa that allows them to live and study in the U.S. We are not yet able to sponsor student visas, but we do expect this to change in the future. Let us know if this is something you're interested in!

Is there a deadline to apply?

It takes time to build an amazing cohort! So while we do accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the year until the cohort is full, we are extremely grateful when folks start that process at least a couple months before the next cohort start date. Plus, the earlier you apply, the more likely you are to get scholarship monies if you qualify for them. We start a new cohort several times per year. You can find more information on our [process here.][2]

Is there a fee to apply?

No. There is no application fee that is required to submit your online application.
