Applying to the Wayfinding Academy
Who Can Apply
We want to make college and self-exploration accessible to those who share the Wayfinding Academy values. We are building a cohort of seekers in our two-year, full-time immersive program who want to invest in their education and make the world a better place. The only requirements for the full program are that you are 18 by the time you start and you have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent level of preparation.
Can I apply if I’ve already attended a college or university for any length of time?
Yes! You are welcome to apply. Wayfinding is about finding your next best step and pursuing it confidently. We are interested in students with a variety of academic backgrounds.
Is there a deadline to apply?
It takes time to build an amazing cohort! If you know this is a great next step in your journey, you’ll have the chance to apply before a priority deadline. If you need a little more time, applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis until the cohort is full. You can find more information on our process here.
I’m an international student, can I still apply?
In our first year, we are able to accept students from other countries who have a current visa that allows them to live and study in the U.S. Unfortunately, at this time we are not yet able to sponsor student visas, but we do expect this to change in the future.
Is there a fee to apply?
Yes, an application fee ($80) will be part of the required application components. The fee helps over part of the operational and processing costs of the application itself. Our application and entire admission process has been intentionally designed to be educational and valuable to you whether or not you join the Wayfinding Academy as a full time student. The application process is our initial investment in your exploration and we are committed to helping you discover if this is your next best step.
