One of our priorities here at Wayfinding Academy is to weave together college and community.

We did that last night when we hosted a TEDx Salon event, organized by many Wayfinding students and attended by Portland community members.

Students do it through internships that take them outside of our campus to work alongside others in the community.

Today we'd like to announce another way in which we're weaving together college and community - through our new Creator in Residence program.

Modeled after the Artist in Residence program developed for TEDx events (by the same folks that hosted last night's Salon), the Creator in Residence program is an opportunity for entrepreneurs, designers, makers, creators of any kind to rent space at Wayfinding Academy and become a part of this community.

Yes, you'll get 24/7 access to the building and free high speed internet. But on top of that, you'll get to spend time with our students, crew, and faculty.

That's what makes this place special - the people here and the things they're passionate about.

As the Creator in Residence you'd get to tap into that passion, and share yours with us.

Intrigued?

See you around soon,

- The Wayfinding Team
